Intentional Experiences

Experiences designed to help you tap into the “well of aliveness” deep inside of you.  Reconnect with your senses and start having more moments of appreciation, joy and awe.

When was the last time you were truly curious?

So many of us forget what it feels like to try something new or to be amazed by life, by nature, or by ourselves

“The world is full of magic things, patiently waiting for our senses to grow sharper.”

Where we spend time matters.
Neuroscience tells us that spending time in nature gives us a chance to connect more deeply with something larger than ourselves. As we shift locations we can shift mindsets, opening us to new ways of seeing.

Sharing your experience with others opens doors to new ways of seeing ourselves. We see our differences, as well as our shared humanity, and this helps us to feel more connected. At a time when technology connects more than ever, many of us feel more and more isolated. We offer a new way to connect more authentically.

So often we just read about things and we don’t commit to experiencing them. But, in fact, having the experience produces a unique kind of knowledge. An experience requires you to get out of your head and into your body.

When you start getting curious and asking yourself why you’ve put limits on your thinking, your choices, or your life vision, you realize that you can change your mind. You’re not stuck.

Experiences for Everyone

At Unexpected Adventures NYC, Our events are designed to shift you out of your day to day mindset. As you slow down and reconnect with your senses, you’ll start having more moments of appreciation, joy and awe.

This is just a small sampling of our events. Contact us to learn more, or visit Eventbright.

Our Philosophy

We deserve more moments of aliveness, connection and joy in our lives.

But our society conditions us to feel pressured to perform, to achieve and to prove our worth —to do more, be more and have more. When we live in this constant state of “not enough” we block our vitality— and that’s why we feel disconnected from life.

Neuroscience tells us that trying new things, getting outside in nature, and connecting with others have a tremendous impact on our health and wellbeing. As we begin to notice things, we’ll feel a stronger connection to life.

Our experiences are designed to help you tap into that “well of aliveness” deep inside of you.

As you slow down and reconnect with your senses, you’ll start having more moments of appreciation, joy and awe. For each event, the prompts, questions and activities provide a starting point. Next is having the experience, and then sharing it. Our events shift you out of your day to day mindset. They provide an opportunity to reset.

What people are saying…

Because of your event, I remembered how much I love photographing nature, and I’m feeling more engaged and inspired. It was also great to meet new people.

I have lived in New York for about 25 years, right near Central Park, and I thought I’d been all the way through it. But you got me into a section I had not seen! I had no idea there would be so many birds and flowers. There is so much to learn and see.
